The type of workshops available are unique, in that they offer a one day course of unusual creative and learning skills, enabling you to get a taste of something new without being committed for months at a time. This offers you a chance to meet new people and individual artists from the wider area.
The programme this year is again highly creative with many original and unusual ideas. Adult workshops are run by professional artists and practitioners who offer high quality activities and provide great value learning experiences.
If you would like to book a place on one of our workshops please email us at email@example.com or call Liz on 01949 863044. If you would like to offer your services to run a workshop for us or would like to make a suggestion for a future workshop please feel free to contact us.

9.30am - 3.30pm
with Glass Specialist, Stevie Davies
Fused Glass bowls, dishes and free standing curves. Use various metal inclusions such as wire and shim along with coloured glass details to create your own intricately designed glass art.
Learn the technique of cutting and layering glass sheets to produce your own designs which will be fired over a specialist mould to create your choice of form. Pieces created at the workshops will be taken back to Stevie’s studio, fired and brought back Toot Hill School for collection, approximately 3 weeks later.
Although there is no specific theme for this session, you may like to bring along your imagery as inspiration. With an emphasis on colour and line, your creations can be as detailed, simple, abstract or quirky as you wish. There are a number of options for you to create at least 2 or 3 pieces in the workshop depending on your chosen design.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss any queries you may have, big or small and make sure to visit Stevie's Facebook page to find lots of photos of past students creations, just search Stevie Davies Contemporary Glass Art.
