GREAT CAREER ASPIRATIONS THROUGH GREAT CAREERS ADVICE AND GUIDANCE
Careers aspirational work, advice and guidance starts in Year 7 at Toot Hill School and runs through to Year 13 in Toot Hill College and beyond via our Alumni. It is our aim that Toot Hill students have the skills, qualities and capabilities required by not only the UK labour market but the global job market too.
We will be exploring the UK Skills Shortage and a variety of careers across all year groups as part of our Stop the Clock workshops. Students will be informed about the qualifications, skills and qualities needed for a range of career pathways.
A Toot Hill student will be "well rounded" and will stand out from the crowd. They will know how to make the most of the opportunities available to them and what they need to do, to not only achieve academic success, but to get the experience, skills and qualifications needed to fulfil their aspirations
Students are encouraged to volunteer in the community, do charity work, take care of the environment, recycling and play a part in the development of the school. Students will keep up-to-date with current affairs, do team building activities, learn how to solve problems and develop their presentation skills.
We are proud to celebrate the success of students whilst they are at Toot Hill but also after they have left via our Alumni.
